The Charity organises a number of fundraising and community events during the year, including the Englefield Walk, Dragon Boat Racing, Football Tournaments, Concerts, Fashion Shows and, at Christmas time, Light Up A Life, which is a celebration through carols, music and readings, of the lives of our loved ones no longer with us. Do your own thing
Some of our supporters even organise their own social, sporting and challenge events to support us. Talk to us first when planning a fundraising event for practical advice and to obtain maximum publicity (where applicable). If you need inspiration, ask for our A - Z of fundraising ideas. We have a large selection of banners, collecting boxes, display cards, signs, labels and printed material to help you.
We recycle and remake greetings cards for resale. We also sell seasonal items at Christmas & Easter, plus many yellow-themed products to support the 'Go Yellow' campaign. (Yellow is the colour of the national hospice movement.) Also many practical and fun gifts for children and adults.
Our new Berkshire Hospice Lottery is a great way to support local hospice care and have a good chance of winning from a weekly prize fund of £1000 for only £1 a week (one month minimum)
