Life is full of change and now is the time to make an up to date Will and support Duchess of Kent House Charity (DoKHC) at the same time.
 The solicitors in the 'Make a Will Fortnight' document have agreed to write a standard Will free of charge in exchange for a donation to Duchess of Kent House Charity*. All you have to do is contact the participating solicitor of your choice during this fortnight or just before to make an initial appointment (the appointment may or may not be in this fortnight and will be at a mutually convenient time at their offices). Please quote Duchess of Kent House Charity advert / promotion when calling.
There is no obligation to include Duchess of Kent House Charity in your Will, but if you decide to leave a gift to the Charity it would be greatly appreciated.

*Please note:
1. The suggested minimum donation is £100 for a single Will and £150** for two (mirror) Wills and the donation will be collected by the solicitor (cheque only) on behalf of DoKHC at the initial meeting (cheques should be made payable to
Duchess of Kent House Charity);
2. Participating solicitors may have a limit to the number of wills which are avail-able under this scheme and these will be allocated on a first come first served ba-sis;
3. If your Will is not standard for example includes taxation, other specialised legal advice such as trusts or non charitable cash legacies, or is otherwise a non-standard Will, additional fees may be incurred. The solicitor will inform you of this and agree the fee with you before doing any work on your Will.
4. Wills will not be completed within the promotion fortnight and individual solici-tors may have a required date for completion;
5. Proof of your identity will be required (e.g. passport and bank statement); and,
6. All Wills written under this promotion are subject to the terms and conditions of the individual solicitors concerned.
