Duchess of Kent House Charity is holding its annual Teddy goes on Holiday Competition. All you have to do is buy a bear from us and take it on holiday with you, photograph your bear and submit the photo by 30 September 2011.
Last year, Patricia Shackleford of Reading won best dressed for her George Bear; Jen Hargraves of Tilehurst won furthest travelled for taking ‘Boris’ to Vancouver, Canada; and the most unusual place award went to Fiona Vince for taking Benedict Bear on pilgrimage to the Bavarian region of Germany.
Just send the Teddy’s tag with the photograph to our FREEPOST address by 30 September 2011 and you could win a gift voucher worth £20. The competition is open to all ages, so if your school or organisation would like to get involved, we can provide a tray of 10 bears or more (on sale or return) for you to sell at your summer fete or in the office. The Teddies cost £2.00 each and are available post free by calling 0118 939 4889, or to buy at the Duchess of Kent House Charity office.
