Reading based Natalie Allen is celebrating after scooping the £2,900 rollover in last week’s Berkshire Hospice Lottery. This is Natalie’s third win; and is the biggest prize so far since the lottery began last September. The lottery profits go directly towards funding the hospice services of Duchess of Kent House Charity in Reading; which looks after patients from this part of the Thames Valley.
Natalie is a long-term supporter of the Duchess of Kent House. She has been involved in raising money for the unit in the past, alongside her mother Karen, and grandfather Roy Sibley. They have taken part in a number of fundraising activities, including the Englefield Walk, and Light Up a Life. Natalie’s father, Barry Kurton, died at the Duchess of Kent House in 2000.
Recently married, Natalie plans to spend her winnings on home improvements and buying lottery tickets for her two brothers. Unsurprisingly she has recommended all her friends to join the Berkshire Hospice Lottery too!
Every week there is a top prize of £750 to be won, one prize of £50 and five prizes of £20 each. Further information can be found at www.berks-hospice-lottery.org.uk or enquiries to 0118 939 4889. |
