On Sunday 20 March over 70 runners completed the 29th Reading Half Marathon for Duchess of Kent House Charity. Once again the Charity was one of the official charities of the race. We provided staff and volunteers to run the water-station at Liebenrood Road and one of the kit tents in the race village.
Up to 16,000 runners took part in this year’s event which started in Green Park, Reading, and finishing inside Madejski Stadium, the home of Reading Football Club.
We would like thank all our runners for the tremendous fundraising! We hope to beat last year’s amazing total of £35,000 the Half Marathon raised for us.
We would also like to thank our incredible team of volunteers for coming out at 7:00am on a Sunday morning, and the students on the ND Music course from Reading College.
