Duchess of Kent House Charity introduced a new event this Valentine’s Day: Lanterns for Loved Ones.

The idea behind it is simple -   

Valentine’s Day can be a romantic day for many but a sad day for those who have lost a loved one. On this special day we remembered 45 loved ones by personally dedicating and lighting a lantern in their memory, with almost 100 relatives and friends attending. This was followed by a short service and meditation and piper procession.
