John Lewis
Local partners (staff) of John Lewis (Heelas as was) have adopted us as their charity of the year. First involvement was replacement of our damaged sun canopy used by day therapy patients in the garden. Secondly, all day patients who went on the Thames cruise in July were given a very well stocked goody bag containing up-market cosmetics among other desirables. In the last few days a cheque for £2745 has been received as well as craft stock for sale. Store charity representatives Chris Manning & Natasha Murray plan more fundraising for us in the near future.

Latest staff initiative involves 7cm high bears called ‘Duchess’ who can be hired out for £2.50 a time on the proviso that they are photographed at all the exotic locations they travel too. Destinations so far include Brussels and the Ritz in London!
