George Solly and Paul Whiting
Budding artist, Paul Whiting, is selling limited prints of his painting ‘Sun Bather’ in memory of his late wife and donating the proceeds to Duchess of Kent House Charity.
Paul’s wife, Lynn, was cared for Duchess of Kent House before she died in January 2010 aged 49 years, and Paul wanted to show his appreciation to the staff by raising money for the unit.
Paul, a Warehouse Operative for GE Intelligent Platforms said ‘The people at the Hospice do a wonderful job and this gives me the opportunity to give something back for all they did for us and Lynn. I believe it is a wonderful charity to raise money for."
The painting of a Swan at Pangbourne was painted in oil on acrylic. Unframed prints are available for £20 each with £5 donated to the Charity for each one sold and framed prints for £40, £10 of which will be donated.
