Doreen Baker (2nd right) lost her husband Roy at the end of last year. When grandchildren Daniel Butler and Amanda Vockins (1st and second left) said they would run the Green Park Challenge during the Reading Half Marathon, Doreen was delighted. Doreen is very appreciative of the way the staff of Duchess of Kent House hospice supported her husband and family during their time of need, and continue to do so. Amanda & Daniel have raised no less that £723 through sponsorship of their run and all money goes to the hospice which continues to help local patients with life-shortening diseases according to need, free of charge.
