Global company supports local hospice charity

Staff at Cisco and Duchess of Kent House Charity along with volunteers got together this week to mail out the Charity’s latest newsletter.

Cisco, a global organisation, provided space at their offices in Green Park and 50 man-hours to assist the Charity, which helps fund the hospice of the same name.

Cisco has been supporting DoKHC for the past few years.  George Solly, Director of Fundraising at the Charity said “We are very grateful to Cisco for all their support. Through helping us, Cisco are putting their organisation at the heart of the local community. By taking part in all sorts of initiatives, such as mailing days, gardening projects and cake sales, the staff at Cisco are fundraising and assisting where our resources are stretched.”

Diane Leigh, EMEAR Partner Manager at Cisco, added “At Cisco we are encouraged to give our time, effort and expertise back to our local communities. We have been involved in several projects at the hospice but this task meant we could hold it in our office so more people could be involved.”

Cisco, is a worldwide leader in networking that transforms how people connect, communicate and collaborate. Information about Cisco can be found at http://www.cisco.com.
