Dr Annabella Marks
 
Dr Annabella Marks is to retire from her role as medical consultant and clinical director for the Berkshire West PCT Specialist Palliative Care Service.

Annabella has successfully led a multi professional team to develop a highly respected patient centred service.  She has hugely contributed to the Thames Valley Cancer Network to influence service delivery and standards outside of the area.

Her commitment to her patients is recognised by colleagues within the service and in the community and acute hospitals; her enthusiasm to share her knowledge has enabled others to develop their own knowledge and skills.

She has been actively involved in and has embraced many of the changes in the NHS to enhance the care given to patients and has always had a community focus, often visiting patient in their homes as well as providing extensive outpatient support.
