We would like to say congratulations and a huge thank you to Benjamin Withers, who has raised an amazing £6000 for Duchess of Kent House Charity. Benjamin, who is 7 years old, wanted to raise money for the unit in memory of his mother Caroline.
Caroline lost her battle against cancer and passed away at Duchess of Kent House in July. Benjamin raised the money for the hospice so that other people, who are suffering, can be cared for with the same love and tenderness that his mother was. He held a swimming event, in which he swam 4 lengths of the pool as well as fundraising initiatives at his school and other activities.
