Christine Pickett, her husband and a group of dedicated helpers staged another Summer Ball in July in memory of Barbara Pickett. Held at Burghfield Civil Service Club 140 people, including some of our nurses enjoyed themselves dancing to Backbeat Band.  Decorations very expertly executed in the charity’s colours to celebrate 15 years since the unit was opened by the Countess of Westmorland. An amazing £2815 was raised. Our sincere thanks to all involved, especially Christine and family.
